Created by Tshedza Pictures, the series marks the production company's first project for e.tv. At the heart of the story is the wealthy and influential Dhlomo family, whose lives are filled with hidden truths, power struggles and betrayals that threaten to destroy everything they have built.
The show features a talented ensemble cast led by Sindi Dlathu. Joining her are Sdumo Mtshali, Thembinkosi Mthembu, Kealeboga Masango, Rami Chuene, Dumisani Dlamini, Hope Mbhele and Scelo Buthelezi, who bring the family's emotional journey to life through gripping performances.
The Four of Us represents a fresh direction for e.tv's primetime entertainment. Alongside its television broadcast, the telenovela has also secured a Netflix streaming deal, giving audiences across Africa the opportunity to watch new episodes a day after they air on the channel.
While the end of Scandal! closed the chapter on one of the country's longest-running soapies, The Four of Us is looking to make its own mark. With its strong cast, engaging storyline and family-centred drama, the series is set to become one of South Africa's standout television productions.
After more than 20 years as one of South Africa's most-loved television dramas, Scandal! has officially left e.tv's weekday lineup. Taking its place is The Four of Us, a brand-new telenovela that made its debut on 29 June 2026 in the familiar 8pm timeslot.
